Financial and managerial structuring post-acquisition
A manufacturing company from the Marche region, among the international benchmarks in the production of profiles for cladding, flooring and construction, with an in-house production cycle across multiple materials, more than 200 people and more than half of revenue generated abroad.
Thera Capital's role
Thera acted as advisor in support of the investment fund in the Performance Improvement area, to strengthen the financial and managerial structure of the portfolio company.
Work carried out
- Design and rollout of the treasury model, with cash flow forecasting, oversight of the net financial position and of banking relationships in support of debt
- Design and implementation of an advanced planning and control model: monthly closing processes, and a budgeting, forecasting and reporting framework toward the fund
- Support through the managerial transition, with interim management of the CFO function during the replacement and continuity on treasury, management control and reporting toward the fund, through to the handover to the new CFO
- Induction and transfer of skills to the company Controller, to ensure full operational autonomy and continuity of the control system
KPIs achieved
In 9 months solid financial governance for the company, with the introduction of an integrated treasury, planning and control system able to support management decisions and the fund's reporting needs
